| <a id="v-CREDENTIALS_TYPE_UNINITIALIZED"></a>`CREDENTIALS_TYPE_UNINITIALIZED` | 0 | Treated like `CREDENTIALS_TYPE_AUTOMATIC`. |
| <a id="v-CREDENTIALS_TYPE_MFILES"></a>`CREDENTIALS_TYPE_MFILES` | 1 | An M-Files account (password stored by M-Files). |
| <a id="v-CREDENTIALS_TYPE_WINDOWS"></a>`CREDENTIALS_TYPE_WINDOWS` | 2 | A Windows or domain account, verified by Windows on the server. |
| <a id="v-CREDENTIALS_TYPE_AUTOMATIC"></a>`CREDENTIALS_TYPE_AUTOMATIC` | 3 | Try an M-Files account first; if that fails, a Windows account. |
