# ObjVerVersionType

The kind of an object version reference: a specific version, or a marker such as "latest".

Send `OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_SPECIFIC` unless a method documents that it accepts a marker. Several
methods, for example `GetProperties` and `GetObjectFiles`, answer "Not found." to
`OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_LATEST`.

## Values

| <a id="v-OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_UNINITIALIZED"></a>`OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_UNINITIALIZED` | 0 | Not set. Not accepted where a version is needed. |
| <a id="v-OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_LATEST"></a>`OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_LATEST` | 1 | The latest version. Used in lookup values (with `internal_version` -1) and accepted only by methods that say so. |
| <a id="v-OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_ANY"></a>`OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_ANY` | 2 | Any version. Not accepted by `GetProperties`. |
| <a id="v-OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_ALL"></a>`OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_ALL` | 3 | All versions of the object. |
| <a id="v-OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_SPECIFIC"></a>`OBJ_VER_VERSION_TYPE_SPECIFIC` | 4 | A specific version, given in `internal_version`. |
