## Remarks

**For M-Files components only.** The M-Files desktop client uses it for document comparison.
Applications should not call it.
- Requires a vault session; no special vault rights. A
  server-level session fails with "Login required.".
- `server_guid` is filled only on on-premises servers that are connected to M-Files Manage. It
  is empty on servers in M-Files Cloud containers (by design) and on servers without the
  connection.
